A huge number of all sorts of devices and strange objects that Chinese inventors and homemade products make take off, ride and even dive into water.

Replica of the Batmobile made by Li Weilei. The Chinese spend all his free time assembling such structures, which replicate the appearance of cars from films and comics. And, obviously, money: he spent more than 70 thousand yuan on the Batmobile.

He Liang from Changsha spent about ten years turning a rolling suitcase into a means of transportation. Finally, by the spring of 2014, he succeeded. The suitcase cycle can reach speeds of up to 20 kilometers per hour.

Luo Jinsha, a resident of the Shanghai suburb, has always dreamed of flying. Recently, he decided to fulfill his wish and set out to assemble a homemade aircraft. In the winter of 2014, the man tested the car for the first time, which cost him 40 thousand yuan (6.5 thousand dollars). Even though she was unable to take off, Luo Jinsha does not intend to stop trying to get into the air.

31-year-old Jian Lin from Mianzhu built his personal tank, which is 4.5 meters long and weighs about three tons. Why he needed a combat vehicle is not specified, but it is known that the man served in the armed forces and the navy. Perhaps he just got bored with the army and decided to try his hand at one-man tank forces.

Self-taught inventor Tao Xiangli from Beijing assembled a home robot from improvised materials, scrap metal and wires, which he bought at a local radio market. The work took a year and 300 thousand yuan (almost 50 thousand dollars). When the robot was ready, it could not leave the Chinese man’s apartment because it was too big (480 kilograms and more than two meters in height). Nevertheless, he was able to perform the simplest movements.

The robot was not the only brainchild of Tao Xiangli. A few years earlier, he assembled a small submarine using empty oil barrels. The inventor equipped the boat with everything necessary - a periscope, diving depth control devices and engines.

Here's another amateur aviator, 58-year-old farmer Li Jingchun and his brainchild, a steel plane. The Chinese assembled the five-meter-long aircraft primarily from steel sheets. The man was helped in assembling the car by his family, who have nothing against his hobby.

Students from the University of Hunan Province developed and assembled an unusual, economical vehicle weighing about 50 kilograms in six months. A capsule car, the driver of which for some reason must lie in it, can reach speeds of up to 60 kilometers per hour and consume only a liter of gasoline for every hundred kilometers.

A resident of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region named Abulajon constructed a motorcycle for himself from what he had. Despite the fact that this monster, about 2.5 meters high, cannot be driven onto busy streets, the man was not upset: he tested it near his home and decided to ride it for his own pleasure, without going onto central roads.

Shu Mansheng from Hubei Province built several aircraft according to his own drawings. The photo shows his aircraft, which was lifted into the air by eight motorcycle engines. The young man’s resulting contraption, about five meters in diameter, rose to a height of about a meter and spent ten seconds there.

Zhang Wuyi, a farmer and fellow countryman of the inventor from the previous photo, assembles small submarines. He even managed to sell one of them to a businessman from the city of Dalian for 100 thousand yuan (about 16 thousand dollars). His boats are designed primarily for aquatic harvesting, such as sea cucumbers.

This is another submarine from master Zhang Wuyi. Unlike the previous one, which is designed for two people, this boat is single-seater. It can dive to a depth of 30 meters and stay under water for ten hours.

A farmer named Guo assembled a replica Lamborghini in six months. This machine, made from scrap metal and electric bicycle parts, is charged by batteries and can travel about 60 kilometers. Guo gave the homemade Lamborghini to his little grandson.

Ding Shinlu from Shenyang assembled a plane from plastic. The engines were three motorcycle engines. The assembly took about three thousand yuan (more than $400), which, in general, is cheap for such a miracle of small aircraft.

Zhu Rongqiang made a car that looked either like an insect or like a tractor from parts of used cars. Despite the fact that all the parts in the vehicle are old, it can move at a speed of about 60 kilometers per hour.

Liu Wanyun lives in a small village in Guizhou province and in his free time he invents not the most obvious and useful things. In the photo he is captured on his floating bicycle, which floats on the water thanks to lightweight plastic pipes.

Yang Zongfu assembled a six-ton container in case of a natural disaster such as an earthquake or flood. The brainchild of the Chinese was called “Noah’s Ark”. It can accommodate a family, for which a supply of food for ten months is prepared inside the ball. The man assembled this structure for two years and spent more than two million yuan (about 235 thousand dollars) on it.

Farmer Wu Yulu has been collecting robots since 1986. He makes mobile humanoids from metal parts, nails, wires and other junk that he finds in landfills. Wu Yulu designed this rickshaw driver to carry him in a cart around his domain.

Gao Hanjie assembled the helicopter just because he likes helicopters. This machine weighs 350 kilograms and the length of the structure is six meters. According to the Chinese, he designed the aircraft exclusively for personal use and does not intend to sell it. The man's main income comes from working as an illustrator.

Zhang Haiyong made this plane from plastic, steel rods and old car parts, including an engine. During the first test, the device was unable to rise above three meters.

This craft was invented by Li Yongli, who called the vehicle the best and most important in the world. It is unknown how many of them were produced, but the woman in the photo successfully tested one of them.

Brothers Zhao Xiushun and Zhao Xiuguo call themselves big fans of Formula 1 racing. Both dream that someday they will assemble a real racing car that can participate in one of the prestigious races. While they are training on homemade race cars made from scrap metal. Such a car can accelerate only 60 kilometers per hour.
