Unique "God's Eye" helmet for F-35 fighter pilots (5 photos)
Especially for the modern F-35 fighter, American scientists have developed a unique pilot’s helmet, which received the very modest name “God’s Eye.” The thing is that the design of the new helmet allows you to see the enemy in detail at a distance of one and a half kilometers, and with its help the pilot’s vision becomes binocular at a much wider viewing angle. Well, what else can I add? Just the sight of an enemy in such a “hellish” helmet can already scare you ;) Let’s take a look.
With its help, the pilot is able to see binocularly over a much wider area than standard human eyes. The helmet has an automatic night vision system and switches modes itself (depending on the situation).
The helmet also serves as a command center: all on-board weapons are tied to the movements of the pilot’s head and eyes. Hitting targets in such a helmet is no more difficult than in a computer game.

The pilots joke:
"With the new helmet, we feel like demons - frightening our enemies with just their appearance."
He certainly looks scary
And here is an analogue of the device from 1921.
